BRT ELITE SQUAD

NICKNAME:

Bakes

LIVES:

Ocean Grove

I started triathlon in 2018 at Barwon Heads Triathlon, before heading overseas backpacking for 6 months. I decided to have a go at triathlon due to having a football and cricket background as a kid i always loved keeping fit.

But due to travelling in 2017 I wasn't playing football so thought id try my hand at something different over the summer before heading off in winter.

I love the sport of triathlon as it consistently challenges me both mentally and physically. There is no better feeling than the one after a big workout and the sense of satisfaction.

Into the future I'm hoping to race well at Geelong again in 2021 and build towards getting on the start like for Port Macquarie IRONMAN. In 2022 hoping to take my spot in Taupo 70.3 WC.

THOUGHTS ON BECKWORTH RACING

I love the team environment that Beckworth racing provides for all ages and abilities. All the group sessions have a positive atmosphere and I would recommend for anyone that enjoys getting outside and staying fit to come along.

I'm coached by Adam, he finds the right balance between getting fit, improving technique, teaching the sport to new comers like me, and also most importantly fitting in with lifestyle around family and work commitments.
