FEATURED ATHLETE PROFILE
AGE GROUP SQUAD
I am a proud mother of two adorable children. Hudson and Ruby-rose are my everything, I pride myself on actively showing them how to make healthy lifestyle choices, whilst providing them with as much opportunity to participate in all the things that excite them in life. My favourite part of racing is hearing them scream “Go mummy” and seeing the huge smile on their faces when I give them my medal!
I work full time as a registered nurse within the Geelong Emergency Department, specialising in both surgical and emergency nursing. I began my nursing career back in 2007 when my grandmother (Moira) was diagnosed with dementia and required full time care.
I’m more of a country girl then a city slicker. I prefer camping over hotels and love a night in my swag under the stars. I hate flys, wind and barking dogs. I have an addiction to dark kit-kats and berries. When I’m not with H & RR, working or training up a storm with the beckworth crew, you will find me outdoors fishing with my dad, swimming in the ocean, boarding the slopes or sweating bricks at bikram yoga. NAMASTE!

THOUGHTS ON BECKWORTH RACING
I joined with Beckworth Racing 12months ago, and wish I had have joined years ago!! I have previously dabbled in numerous sporting competitions and short course triathlons, but was never able to find a good balance and remain injury free.
Adam, along with all of the Beckworth trainers have clearly worked well together in creating an exciting, supportive, encouraging and inspirational group of athletes.
Having Adam as my coach and being apart of such a fantastic group, has not only allowed me to finally train and race injury free, but in 12months I have ticked off 2 x 70.3 races, 1 x marathon, 3 x 1/2 marathons and I’m about to become an IRONMAN.
