Since 2004, IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia has been a Bucket List race for athletes all over the world. Taking place in the idyllic seaside town of Busselton - the gateway to the famous Western Australia wine region of Margaret River - 'Busso' is renowned for being the place to go for a personal best with one of the flattest and fastest on the global circuit.


Being flat and fast it is a very popular IRONMAN 70.3 for first timers. Although, it does typically get hot on the run. So, it's not all smooth sailing.

Athletes need to have a very considered nutrition plan dialled in, especially the Victorians as the heat can be a shock at that time of year.
