FEATURED ATHLETE PROFILE
BRT ELITE SQUAD
Fawka / Fawksey
After my Football career ended with my second knee reconstruction in as many years, I decided to have a go at my first Triathlon in 2018 in the last race of the 2XU Triathlon Series season. I loved the challenge and the work ethic of so many great athletes competing, from there I was hooked!
I just wanted to keep getting better, getting faster, and beating my own personal best times, as well as beating other competitors too.
Triathlon has opened up a whole new perspective for me on what being fit is, and the levels we can push our bodies too. I also love that success in the sport is solely up to you, if you work hard and are dedicated then you'll get great results.
In the future I'm wanting to race Elite at the 2XU Series, compete in more Ironman 70.3 races and hopefully a World Champs down the track.

THOUGHTS ON BECKWORTH RACING
Being involved with Beckworth Racing is the best! There is an incredible group of people within the team that are so supportive of each other and always wanting to help out.
Training with the group is a great motivator, and being around like-minded, driven and happy people makes it a very positive environment to be around.
All the coaches are an invaluable source of knowledge and are very generous with their advice. Being on a program helps a lot also in keeping you accountable, motivated and injury free.
But in addition to all of this, it's a great family based club also.
